Job description

We are seeking an Operations Project Analyst to support the USMC Light/Attack Helicopter Programs Office (PMA-276) in Patuxent River, Maryland. The Operations Project Analyst will assist the PMA-276 OPS Lead in the execution of day-to-day tasks and functions as well as lead special projects in support of the Program Office. Functional description: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Tasks will include, but are not limited to: Processing building badges Executing check-in/out checklists for new and departing personnel Reviewing official correspondence Coordinating and executing special projects in support of the program office Light Attack Academy Mentor Program Field Trips and Tours Education: A Bachelor's degree or allowable substitutions is required for this position. Allowable substitutions include an Associate's degree and an additional two years of experience or an additional four years of experience. Experience: Three to ten years are required for this position. Desired Experience: Experience supporting major weapon systems and components development. Demonstrated experience in program/project status tracking and schedules. Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life-cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series), Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests, Work requests, Requisitions, Contract Data Requirements Lists, and DD 254. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
