Description

The Project Manager - Commercial Projects up to $10M - Maryland will be responsible for:

Project Management:

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Estimating:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Analyze blueprints and other documentation to develop detailed project proposals.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to optimize design and construction methods.
  • Track project costs and provide financial reports to stakeholders.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and industry partners.
  • Prepare and present proposals and bids to potential clients.
  • Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the company and its services.

Profile

The Project Manager - Commercial Projects up to $10M - Maryland will have:

  • at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial General Contractor
  • proven experience managing the full life-cycle of projects ranging from $1M to $10M
  • estimating experience
  • healthcare project experience is ideal but not required
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • strong relationships with local subcontractors, vendors, clients, etc.
  • great organizational skills
