Job description

• Only qualified Senior Salesforce Developer candidates located near the Everett, MA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree with a major in computer science or a related field.

  • Proven record of accomplishment working on large-scale projects with diverse stakeholders and with cross-functional teams.

  • 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer

  • Handle development of new business requirements using Lightning Web Components, Lightning Flows, Apex Batches and Triggers, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other solutions.

  • Experience with programming languages such as SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and CSS. experience with batch data and real-time stream processing on the Salesforce platform.

  • Experience with Application Development & Configuration including Lightning App Builder, Flows, Validations rules, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

  • Expertise in developing UI pages using the LWC framework.

  • Experience with complex Salesforce API integration for applications residing on various platforms.

  • Implemented Async processing solutions with Platform events, Async Apex, Queueable Apex, CDC, Lightning Message Service etc.

  • Extensive understanding of Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities) development and customization.

  • Platform Developer I Certification is must

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD)

  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint

  • Experience with SFDC specific IDE and version control configurations (GitHub, Bitbucket) for Salesforce development (VS Code, IntelliJ, SFDX)

  • Experience with accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn plus Excellent written/verbal communication & documentation skills

  • Experience related to K-12 education/curriculum standards would be a plus

  • Experience with cloud solutions/technologies, specifically AWS, is also a plus

  • Ability to adjust to changing situations to address emergencies, program changes, or production requirements

    The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for collaborating with the EOE Organization, Project Managers, Architect, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance, in the process of creating software deliverables and artifacts.

    As a senior member of the team, you must adhere to the organization's methodologies and standards, and propose improvements based on software development best practices.

    Senior Salesforce Developer Responsibilities:

  • Perform Lightning We Component Development and Integration platforms development support (enhancements, bug fixes)

  • Participation in efforts including requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, roll out and documentation creation

  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings to discuss current tasks and weekly status reports

  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, and other integration tools

  • Collaborate with junior developers to perform code reviews and provide feedback

  • Create and maintain technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions and Salesforce policies/procedures

  • Mentor and provide guidance to the development team members
