My client is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Superintendent to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, including planning and design, procurement, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

I'm currently working with a family-owned general contractor based in Woburn, MA. They place a strong emphasis on company culture and employee retention, which has led to a team with impressive tenure. This mid-sized contractor specializes in commercial, residential, industrial, and specialty markets. They are currently seeking a Superintendent to join their team for projects across Western MA.

Description

The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Responsible for general supporting contract, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications under direction from the Superintendent.
• Check and verify subcontractor layout to ensure compliance with established control, line and grade.
• Monitor production and record rates in logbook to be used for future scheduling.
• Maintain a set of production documents and update daily so an accurate picture of work in place is consistently maintained.
• Report any and all field conditions and issues to the Superintendent.
• Monitor job progress on-site, checking all work to ensure compliance with contract documents and the Quality Control Program.
• Work with Superintendent to develop and carry out the plan and schedule for project work.
• Plan and prepare documentation to facilitate the close out process at the discretion of the Superintendent.
• Work with and coach field engineers on the project to facilitate their skills development.
• Maintaining the Construction Management Plan and logistical co-ordination.

Profile

The Construction Superintendent will have:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• MA-CSL, OSHA certifications
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction supervising
• Proven track record of delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in contract negotiation and management.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
