My client is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Senior Project Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from planning and design to procurement and quality control. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

I am currently partnered with a family owned general contractor based out of Woburn, MA. They put a large focus on company culture and retaining employees, causing their employees to be well tenure. They are a mid-sized general contractor specializing in commercial, residential, industrial, and specialty markets. My client is actively hiring for a Senior Project Manager to join their team on their fluid pipeline of diverse projects.

Description

The Construction Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan that includes timelines, milestones, and budgets.
  • Allocate resources such as personnel, materials, and equipment to ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Monitor project expenses and adjust budgets as necessary to ensure that the project is completed within the allocated budget.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule that includes all project activities, critical path analysis, and timelines for completion.
  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Communicate project progress to all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, through regular status reports, meetings, and presentations.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards and that any defects are promptly addressed.
  • Manage contracts with contractors and subcontractors, including negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and resolving any disputes that may arise.
  • Ensure that all construction activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations and that safety protocols are followed by all personnel.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project and work with the team to find solutions.
  • Manage any changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and that the project remains on track.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up to date, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and other project-related documents.

Profile

The Construction Senior Project Manager will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and management.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
  • Experience with MS Project
