American Spoon is hiring Seasonal Holiday customer experience associates for our inbound catalog call center. The primary duties are taking inbound telephone orders for our impressive gift collections and direct product orders to ship our handcrafted preserves, jams, sweet toppings, and savories. We produce, take mail orders, and ship directly from Petoskey to destinations all over the United States, US territories and Canada.
We are seeking employees to begin work in mid November who have at least one weekend day available.
Position Details:
Assisting American Spoon customers placing orders via the telephone for themselves or gift recipients that are packed and sent from our Warehouse
Support, educate and assist our customers with the selection of products and gift choices by utilizing all of our available resources
Maintain a patient, friendly and professional demeaner at all times
Creatively and proactively problem solve when engaging with customers to resolve any questions, concerns, or issues while demonstrating a sense of urgency in the follow up process
Take on additional tasks i.e. follow up returning voice mails, prepare catalogs for mailing, customer inquiries and or data entry assignments as needed
Adapt to a fast pace and ever-changing environment absorbing new information regarding products, order system updates and inventory availability
Effectively track shipped orders and provide feedback to the customer
Requirements
Customer Service or sales experience a plus
Must have an energetic spirit, positive attitude, be genuine, professional and friendly
Must be detail oriented
Must have exceptional oral, written, and active listening communication skills
Strong desire to work in a team environment
Strong familiarity with Internet based software
Ideal candidates will have a passion for artisan foods and a strong interest in and or knowledge of locally grown fruits.
Paid training in late October or early November
