Salary Minimum Salary Maximum Salary Type Per Credit Bargaining Unit/Plan 209, IFO Job Description The St. Cloud State University Intensive English Center and English for Academic Purposes program is seeking applications for potential adjunct instructors available to teach courses in the IEC and/or EAP as needed. Applicants should be able teach English skills in reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation, spelling, culture, and other courses for college aged and adult learners of ESL across various levels of language proficiency from beginning to advanced. Teaching assignments would vary depending on qualifications and departmental needs. Required Qualifications Master's Degree in TESL, Applied Linguistics, or related field Two or more years' experience teaching a variety of English language skills and proficiency levels in a university/college based Intensive English Program and/or ESOL Bridge program. Evidence of the ability to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds Preferred Qualifications International English language teaching experience and knowledge of a language other than English Second language learning experiences Other Requirements About Founded in 1869, St. Cloud State is an award-winning regional public university and proud member of the Minnesota State Universities & Colleges system.
