Urgently Hiring: Certified Installation & Maintenance Technician

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for a skilled Certified Installation & Maintenance Technician who can handle a variety of technical responsibilities while continuously learning and growing in the field. This role is based in Minnesota and requires someone who is passionate about getting the job done right, no matter the challenge. Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintenance, installation, minor parameter configuration, and box-level repair.
  • First responder for on-call shifts, troubleshooting issues and diagnosing equipment failures.
  • Project management and documentation as needed.
  • Field tech basic site surveys, including location access, contacts, and photographs.
  • Teaching and training others in system installation and troubleshooting.


Required Certifications:


  • Certified CET in at least one journeyman category.
  • Factory-trained on ARMER-level equipment.
  • Motorola-certified in R56 system installation standards.


Technical Skills:


  • Experience with IP-based camera system configuration and installation.
  • Proficiency with Motorola MCC7500 failure diagnosis, simulcast/multicast paging stations, and mobile equipment.
  • Expertise in fiber testing, battery plants, HVAC, grounding/bonding, and two-way communication systems.
  • Knowledge of RF, GPS receivers, PA systems, IP networking, and data communications.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of organization, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.


Tools & Equipment:


  • Proficiency with DVM, service monitors, IP cabling testers, wattmeters, and other testing equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PC hardware and software, RF interference, and IP network issues.
