Job description

Position Title: Endpoint Security Engineer
Location: Springfield, VA or Saint Louis, MO
Clearance: TS/SCI (current), with the ability to pass a U.S. Government Polygraph post-hire Overview: Join my client's team and contribute to their Intelligence Community customer's endpoint security platforms. As a member of their team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining Enterprise Cyber Security Engineering requirements using cutting-edge tools such as HBSS, Carbon Black Response/Protection, Microsoft ATA, and Tanium. Responsibilities:
Implement and apply advanced technologies, processes, and practices to safeguard networks, devices, programs, and data from cyber threats.
Provide engineering and sustainment support for the Tanium platform.
Design and configure system environments, ensuring adherence to system standards and documentation.
Collaborate with software vendors and customers to research, analyze, and implement security solutions that align with business objectives.
Assist in designing, analyzing, testing, and implementing secure architectures.
Oversee security infrastructure maintenance, including policy management and database administration.
Lead the investigation and documentation of security incidents, driving the development and execution of corrective measures.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and 2-8 years of relevant cyber security engineering experience. (Experience may substitute for a degree.)
Current DoD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II compliant certification.
Ability to obtain/maintain CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 120 days of start date (post-hire).
Proficiency in maintaining Enterprise Cyber Security Engineering requirements using HBSS, Carbon Black Response/Protection, Microsoft ATA, and Tanium.
Experience administering applications in a Linux environment.
Familiarity with large-scale enterprise/global networks and DoD network architecture frameworks.
Strong planning, design, and evaluation skills for security systems and architectures.
