Job description

Corporate Controller role for a publicly listed gaming and software company, based in Las Vegas.

Client Details

Our client is a leading gaming and entertainment provider based in Las Vegas. They have grown quickly, are now publicly listed and have ambitious plans to broaden globally.

They are looking for a corporate controller to join the group and report directly to the CFO. This person will be responsible for leading a high performing accounting team and taking the lead on overall accounting, regulatory compliance and financial control.

Description

  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including quarterly and annual reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, GAAP, and other relevant financial reporting standards.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Audit Management: Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate all audit activities to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Financial Systems: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Profile

You will be a qualified CPA who has a very strong understanding of technical financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements for a publicly listed company. You will have a strong level of experience within software and gaming, with knowledge on particular aspects such as revenue recognition. You will have led successful accounting teams previously.

Job Offer

  • Salary up to $300,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits
  • Relocation allowance available
  • 5 days a week on site
