_ Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in homes in beautiful Hunterdon County._

This is a BCBA position in which you will have the time to make that personal difference for each individual - this is a position like no other! Come & learn more about The Arc of Hunterdon County today!

We are seeking candidates for our BCBA position, with part-time and per diem options available.

This dynamic position provides intervention and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing each individual with exceptional support in managing situations that may result in behavioral challenges in order to assist each individual to experience a great quality of life at home and in the community.

On an on-going basis, the BCBA provides indivualized supports to adults with I/DD living in homes throughout Hunterdon County. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the BCBA completes assessments and engages person-centered planning processes to determine root causes of behavioral challenges; they develop behavior support plans and guidelines to promote skill building, environmental modifications, and consistent supports. The BCBA focuses all interventions on enhancing the quality of life of the individual with I/DD.

The BCBA position provides assessement and evaluation, individualized interventions, plan writing, training, and monitoring.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Valid BCBA Certification
- Driver's License with fewer than four points
- Previous experience supporting people with developmental disabilities or a willgness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
