Job description
Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has a future opportunity for an Alternate (Deputy) Project Manager - Student Support Services for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) or "the Facility" . FLETC is host to approximately 88 participating agencies/bureaus and responsible for providing certain core instructional law enforcement programs as well as a variety of support services. FLETC has on-facility housing for approximately 1800 students and occasionally houses additional students off facility in local motel/hotels. The Facility and participating agencies have a staff of approximately 500. Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC will be responsible for Project Management, Quality Control, Equipment and Uniform Issue, Recreational Support, Audio Visual, Educational Aide Support, and Role Players. When the Project Manager is unavailable, the Alternate (Deputy) Project Manager shall act as the point of contact with the government and stakeholders in all matters related to providing services under this contract including the day-to-day effective operation of Student Support services such as firearms, vehicle maintenance, scheduling, inventory, etc. Primary Location of Work: FLETC is located at the corner of 1300 West Richey Avenue at approximately the northwest corner of the City of Artesia, New Mexico. The city is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 285 and 82. This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Assist the Project Manager in overseeing the performance of all task order work and provide services in support of the FLETC student support operations.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, be physically able to perform assigned work, and free of communicable diseases.
Must ensure compliance with contract requirements and government regulations.
Payrate: $77,889 to $98,469 Annually REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one year experience as an Alternate PM on similar size Federal Contracts.
Demonstrated experience and working knowledge typical of work under this contract (Quality Control, Operational Management of Federal contracts, Scheduling, Inventory, etc.).
