Job description

Hiring Hub is looking for a seasoned HR Director for one of our top clients. This is a hands-on position that requires an experienced professional that can work autonomously.

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)


Job Summary:

The HR Director is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing human resources strategies and programs that support the overall business goals. This role oversees all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Strategic HR Leadership:



    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.

    • Partner with senior management to forecast and plan workforce needs.

    • Serve as a consultant to leadership on HR, culture, and organizational matters.




  2. Talent Acquisition & Management:



    • Oversee recruitment efforts to ensure a continuous pipeline of top talent.

    • Create talent management and succession plans to ensure organizational capability.

    • Lead employer branding initiatives and employee retention strategies.




  3. Employee Relations:



    • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.

    • Provide guidance and support to managers in dealing with performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace conflict.

    • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.




  4. Compensation & Benefits:



    • Develop and maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs.

    • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.

    • Conduct salary benchmarking and reviews to maintain market competitiveness.




  5. Learning & Development:



    • Identify and implement employee development programs to enhance skills and career growth.

    • Oversee leadership development initiatives.

    • Measure the effectiveness of training and development efforts.




  6. Compliance & Risk Management:



    • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

    • Lead internal HR audits and manage risk assessments.

    • Oversee employee health and safety programs.




  7. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):



    • Develop and implement DEI initiatives to foster an inclusive work environment.

    • Collaborate with leadership to promote a diverse workforce.

    • Monitor and report on diversity goals and progress.




  8. HR Operations & Reporting:



    • Oversee HR information systems (HRIS) to manage employee data and analytics.

    • Manage HR budgets and operational costs.

    • Track key HR metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and time-to-hire.




Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Masters degree or HR certifications preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and people management skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.

    • Experience with HR systems and analytics.

    • Proven ability to lead organizational change and foster a strong corporate culture.

    • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
