Overview:
About the Opportunity
A warehouse opportunity, the sorter is responsible for sorting orders to be shipped out to the proper location.

For candidates based in New York State, this position's starting hourly range typically pays between $16 - $16.50.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Tape completed orders and unload them off the cart.

Scan and sort orders by city to be shipped

Label completed pallets.

Operate pallet jack to move finished orders.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must pay attention to detail and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.

Must be able to perform basic mathematical computations

Must possess outstanding communication skills.

Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to converse, read and write in English

Detail oriented

Interest and able to work in a team-oriented work environment

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Material Handling Equipment
This role may involve the operation of certain pieces of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The company supplies and mandates training and certification on each individual piece of equipment prior to permissible use. Physical Demands
