SUMMARY:
The Finance Department is currently seeking an Analyst, Financial Reporting.
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Effectively supports the Galileo (S/4HANA) transformation program. This role will support the design and implementation of our financial reporting in S/4HANA including SAP and non-SAP digital toolsets.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Support the Manager, Financial Reporting and the transformation team to deliver against our reporting strategy.
2. Define approach for data and data structure reconciliation across current-state and future-state toolsets. Facilitate global reconciliation efforts.
3. Liaise effectively with Global Accounting, Finance, and program stakeholders to support transformation objectives.
4. Liaise with data owners to ensure continuity across our data and reporting models.
5. Provide advice, analysis, and counsel, including best practices.
6. Identify improvements in financial processes and systems to drive enhancements in information and analytics.
7. Contribute to the standardization and simplification of financial reporting globally.
8. Assist with the design, rollout, and adoption of automated financial reporting that includes legal entity income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flows. Also assist with the same for management income statements: divisional, geographic, product, plant, etc.
9. Contribute to the successful delivery of gross margin analytics, profitability analytics, including product or customer reporting and analysis.
10. Ensure seamless reporting of actuals with forecasts/budgets.
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience
• Functional Competencies
o General Accounting & Reporting
o Financial Analysis
o Process Understanding
o SAP data structures, including effective use of hierarchies
o Continuous improvement mindset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
• Familiarity with SAP S4/HANA toolsets (Fiori, SAC, Datasphere, Group Reporting, Analysis for Office, PaPM, etc.)
• Understanding of enterprise data designs and platforms
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Preferred:
• International experience
• SAP transformation experience
• Knowledge of Oracle/Hyperion financial systems
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) dashboard and visualization tools
