Overview:

Selux Corporation is hiring a Powder Coater/Painter in their Highland, NY manufactuaring location. This is a full time position with excellent affordable medical, dental and vision benefits, paid holidays, paid time off and 401k match.

Pay Rate: $17-$19/hr.

Responsibilities:
Performs visual inspection of all materials prior to coating

Cleans paint lines, guns, and preventative maintenance.

Report problems with quality, process, equipment and materials to supervisor

Quality control of all processes

Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements

Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others

Must work within the confines of Selux's PPE and Safety Policy, which includes, Safety Glasses, gloves and dust masks.

Qualifications:
Job Knowledge and Skills:

1-2 years of industrial coating system required in a manufacturing environment

Must be able to focus closely on details (attention to detail is critical)

Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand, walk stoop, bend, and lift overhead.

Ability to move/lift up to 75lbs

Frequently required to use hands to handle objects

Ability to work in a hot environment.

Specific vision requirements include close vision.
