Our client designs buildings and interiors for a wide range of clients and programs. Their public, education, commercial, and residential projects are located throughout the United States and Asia. Their work has won 30 design awards and has appeared in over 50 publications. They integrate sustainable design in everything they do and have designed three LEED Gold federal buildings in Maine.

Description:

Our client is seeking to hire a full-time Project Architect that is local to Westchester or Putnam County NY. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing luxury modern residences or high-end hospitality buildings and interiors. They should possess an unwavering attention to detail, a deep appreciation for premium materials, and expertise in creating buildable, beautifully crafted details. The candidate must demonstrate an ability to translate clear concepts into stunning, breathtaking realities while excelling at leading design teams and managing complex projects from conception to completion.

The Project Architect will be responsible for developing design concepts and technical details through the use of drawings, digital models, and physical models. They will ensure the seamless integration of sophisticated building systems across all design phases. Leading design teams, the architect will foster innovation while maintaining the highest standards of luxury. Project management will be conducted with meticulous attention to timelines, budgets, and client expectations. Additionally, they will liaise with discerning clients and coordinate with top-tier consultants to ensure project success. The architect will also craft impeccable schematic designs, design development, and construction documents for medium to large-scale buildings and interiors, as well as perform construction administration to oversee the execution of designs.

Required:

Exceptional design abilities at conceptual and detail levels

Proven experience in steering luxury projects from initial concept through to immaculate completion

Experience in researching and implementing unique construction systems

Mastery in producing exquisite construction document drawings and details using Revit

Outstanding organizational and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to collaborate seamlessly in studio settings

Expertise in bespoke interior design and curating premium FF&E is highly valued

Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

B. Arch or M. Arch degree

Salary / Hourly:

$80,000 - $120,000
