Job description
Global Gateway Advisors seeks an Account Supervisor / Associate Director to serve as a day-to-day lead in our International Affairs practice.
The ideal candidate will be a strong strategic communications counselor, effective account leader and manager, and media relations, events and influencer management guru. The individual will have extensive experience working at the intersection of policy and business, advising companies, governments and nonprofits on a diverse array of issues spanning international education to trade development to global health. The candidate will serve as a trusted day-to-day advisor to clients, manage teams, and drive firm initiatives and new business efforts.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Drives results and takes ownership of key account relationships, demonstrating expert counsel and relationship management.
Manages and ensures quality services to clients with multiple stakeholders and complex internal structures.
Delivers communications services, media, and content development management for high-profile global events and milestones.
Develops integrated communications strategies to support a client's purpose, strategy and/or operating model.
Demonstrates a deep understanding of cross-functional areas: corporate communications, public policy, strategic media, international affairs, social impact.
Crafts smart, authentic and relevant strategic messaging and storytelling that clearly articulate a client's vision and commitment to key stakeholders, particularly employees, partners and communities.
Supports firm leaders to grow and develop existing business.
Supports firm leaders to generate and develop new business proposals.
Serves as a trusted, sought-after advisor by firm leaders, clients, and colleagues and mentor for mid- and junior-level employees.
Develops client budgets and business plans.

Detail oriented and committed to highest levels of quality and accountability.
Skills and Attributes:
4-8 years of related agency experience in strategic communications, with experience in global events, social impact, strategic media, and public affairs.
Background counseling complex global non-profit organizations with multiple stakeholders is a plus.
Exceptional ability to pivot seamlessly between client advisor and team manager to provide detailed oversight of the team's tactical execution.
Highly entrepreneurial, organized, and proactive. Critical and strategic thinker under pressure and within fast paced environments.
Has a disciplined approach to planning and measurement with a proven ability to make good decisions with incomplete information.
Exhibits confident, credible counsel and presence to clients and leadership.
Collaborates, solicits and aligns diverse viewpoints-diplomatic.
Superior written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to excellent, quality product and attention to detail.
Minimum degrees BA/BS in English, business, journalism, communications, international affairs or related field preferred.
Base Salary: $85,000 to $140,000
