Job description

Location: 875 Avenue of the Americas, 21st Floor, New York, New York 10001 Position Title: Consultant Industrial Cybersecurity Job Description: Execute the planning, design, development and implementation of technical controls, procedures and policy associated with cybersecurity compliance and/or regulatory standards. Identify and diagnose operational issues and implement design alterations to address these issues. Conduct network penetration tests and vulnerability assessments of IT and Operational Technology (OT) networks, for both compliance and security purposes. Perform detailed, post event analysis of unusual events, and direct needed procedure or process changes in response. Pursue, obtain, and maintain industry recognized IT certifications related to cybersecurity such as ethical hacking, network engineering, Industrial Control System (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), risk management, and others as necessary. Resolve technical issues, analyze implications to the client's business, and be able to communicate them with applicable stakeholders within the business. Develop policies & procedures for secure process control network design, technical and design recommendations for the implementation of firewalls and other network security and compliance controls. Compiles technical documentation of network traffic as well as firewall services/solutions including explanations and diagrams. Telecommuting permitted up to 30 days per year. Primarily domestic travel up to 25% of the time for internal meetings and client site visits. Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a directly related field plus four (4) years of experience in cybersecurity. Must have at least four (4) years of experience with the following: The following cybersecurity controls: firewalls, access control, authentication, anti-virus/antimalware, patching, and logging. Conducting cybersecurity vulnerability assessments with NESSUS. Industrial Control Systems utilized by utilities, manufacturing, oil and gas, transportation, smart buildings, and cities. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Word.). Alternatively, the employer will accept a Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a directly related field plus three (3) years of experience in cybersecurity. Must have at least three (3) years of experience with the following: The following cybersecurity controls: firewalls, access control, authentication, anti-virus/antimalware, patching, and logging. Conducting cybersecurity vulnerability assessments with NESSUS. Industrial Control Systems utilized by utilities, manufacturing, oil and gas, transportation, smart buildings, and cities. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Word.). Telecommuting permitted up to 30 days year. Primarily domestic travel up to 25% of the time for internal meetings and client site visits. $146,286-$190,000 The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
