Job description

As the Controller, you will oversee all financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. You will play a critical role in developing financial strategies, managing the accounting team, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Description

  • Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors.
  • Analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity to meet operational needs.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
