This is a full time, onsite position supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Why Should You Be Interested ? •Direct hire full-time position •Competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits •Mid-size company with room for growth Position Title : Data Center Lead Position Location : Full Time, onsite in Durham, NC Daily Responsibilities : •Responsible for day-to-day operations of data center, hardware/systems modernization and lifecycle management. •Includes cloud support (MS Azure) and work with third party vendors. •Manage virtual machine hosting platform (currently vCenter) and associated virtual machines, including containerization system such as Docker and Kubernetes. Required Years of Experience (min) : •Minimum 5 years of experience directing the planning, coordination, implementation and execution of approved policies, programs and services related to Data Center services. Required Degree : •B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering or Four years of related experience may be substituted for the education degree requirement established for this key personnel function. •ITIL certifications specific to the position are preferred Required Experience : •Deep knowledge of Data Center Management, including design, infrastructure (hardware, software and telecommunications), maintenance and operations. •Experience with monitoring tools. •Experience with infrastructure components, including but not limited to: Current versions of servers, especially Microsoft, Linux, and UNIX, network equipment, network storage, especially NETAPP data storage appliances, and Active Directory. Required Clearance : •Public Trust at time of award. Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: TBD Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
