Position Overview This effort will provide Engineering Support Services for the United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Short Range Recovery (SRR), Medium Range Recovery Range (MRR), Medium Range Surveillance (MRS), and Long Range Surveillance (LRS) Divisions at the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) in Elizabeth City, NC. Essential Job Function Shall be technical experts in development and structural processes.
May train and be assisted by lower level technicians and performs one (1) or more of the following:
Technical, business, and administrative support.
Planning.
Organizing Other duties as required to support the MRR Product Line.
Maintain project schedules using project management software.
Evaluate the project WBS to identify resources, parts, and equipment necessary to develop and execute work on a WBS.
Report on project status utilizing cost, schedule, and resource measurements, reports, and analyses as required.
Identify, locate, and research USCG or equivalent DHS/DOD, Federal, and industry technical publications, process guides, and manuals for modification, testing, certification, and sustainment of MH-60T aircraft.
Technical publication development for engineering, prototype installation and maintenance support, including manufacturing drawings, illustrated parts catalogs, maintenance procedures, and technical order documents.
Proficient in use of the USCG of equivalent DHS/DOD supply management software to include, but not limited to, AMMIS, ACMS, ALMIS, and FEDLOG.
Provide support to aid in technical writing publication efforts to support USCG aviation. Minimum Qualifications Shall possess at a minimum four (4) years' experience in aviation related engineering functions.
A minimum of three (3) years' experience directly related to maintenance/support of the Sikorsky H-60 family of aircraft in addition to a minimum of one (1) years' experience in the current production configuration of MH-60T aircraft is preferred.
