A leading Home Builder is seeking an experienced Residential Project Controller to join their growing team!

Job Title: Residential Project Controller

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina

Residential Project Controller Requirements:

• 3 years experience as a controller, or 5 years experience as an assistant controller or accounting manager
• Proficient in all aspects of construction accounting such as journal entries, general ledger, AP/AR
• HR experience is a huge plus
• Must have experience with Quickbooks
• Property and Liability Insurance experience preferred
• Local/hybrid position - ability to manage people virtually

Residential Project Controller Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management
• Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Manage payroll, employee benefits, and HR functions
• Oversee insurance policies and manage claims
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax accountants
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all financial transactions
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
