Description
The Interior Superintendent - GC - Raleigh/Travel will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the execution of interiors construction projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Leading and developing team members by mentoring, setting clear expectations, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Conducting regular meetings to assess project progress, ensuring compliance with safety, technical, and legal standards while maintaining budget alignment.
- Utilizing problem-solving skills to identify challenges and implement effective solutions that enhance project value.
- Collaborating closely with the Project Management team to facilitate project development and execution.
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure effective resource management aligned with project goals.
- Tracking daily reports and maintaining comprehensive project documentation to ensure all phases are well-documented.
Profile
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a solid background in construction management with a strong focus on interiors projects. Exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanor are crucial for fostering effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
The ideal will have the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of combined field experience in commercial interiors construction, including exposure to projects valued between $5M and $20M.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of MEP fundamentals, drywall, cabinets, countertops, and punch-out processes.
- Knowledge of scheduling, estimating, and cost principles, along with familiarity with project management software such as Procore or MS Project.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- A business-oriented approach in all professional interactions that showcases a commitment to quality and excellence.
