Job description

Job Summary:
The Sprinkler Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of the sprinkler service division, managing service technicians, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards in fire protection services. You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance, inspection, and repair work on fire sprinkler systems, as well as managing service contracts, schedules, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee the scheduling and execution of service calls, inspections, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems
  • Supervise and lead a team of service technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with local fire codes, regulations, and company standards
  • Manage service contracts, including renewals, pricing, and customer communications
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any service concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and parts for repair and maintenance work
  • Monitor service performance metrics, including response times, service quality, and customer feedback
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the quality of work and compliance with fire protection standards
  • Develop and manage budgets for the service division, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for service technicians
  • Stay current with industry trends, fire protection codes, and new technologies in sprinkler systems

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in fire protection, specifically with fire sprinkler systems
  • Strong knowledge of fire codes, safety regulations, and fire protection equipment
  • Previous experience managing a team of technicians or service professionals
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage client relationships
  • Proficiency in service management software and tools
  • Ability to manage budgets, track service performance, and meet profitability targets
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • NICET certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology (Water-Based Systems Layout) is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required
