Summary:

Under general supervision, performs a variety of skilled preventive maintenance duties in the repair, alteration and modification of buildings, equipment and facilities. Provides in-service and instructions to all other Maintenance personnel.

Essential Functions:

1. Replacing light bulbs, outlets, switches and other electrical functions.

2. Plumbing duties, such as unclogging drains, changing toilets, sinks, replacing valves, handles, etc.

3. Repair drywall, install drywall, paint new drywall.

4. Work on low-voltage wiring as needed.

5. Ability to read sc hematics: electrical, plumbing and building facility.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Proof within 30 days of hire

Associates degree is preferred

Required License:

Technical trade school / license is required

Valid driver's license is required

Certifications:

HVAC certification is preferred

BLS is preferred

Required Experience:

1 year of experience in heating/ventilation/air conditioning/refrigeration and/or plumbing trade is preferred
