Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and creative Independent Marriage & Family Therapist to join our practices. We welcome candidates with a strong background in providing innovative clinical skills to couples, children, adolescents and families . Areas of interest or speciality preferred are in the areas of relationship issues, mood disorders, stress and coping issues, trauma and abuse, behavioral issues, parenting and blended families. A foundational knowledge of Internal Famly Systems as well as Faith based belief system is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnosis of individuals, couples and families to identify their needs and challenges.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on therapuetic goals.

- Provide crisis management and intervention services as needed.

- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes.

- Document all medical and therapeutic interactions accurately and in compliance with Ohio Board regulations of private practices.

- Collaborate with other professionals, including educators and healthcare providers to support clients effectively.

- Maintain best practices and CEU requirements to maintain State licensing requirements.

- Conduct in office and teletherapy appointments as desired by clients.

-Continue to build and maintain own caseload based on personal schedule.

Requirements

- Masters degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or related field.

- Independent Marriage & Family License in the State of Ohio.

- Experience in crisis intervention and management is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in medical documentation practices.

- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and child family counseling approaches.

- Knowledge of special education principles and applied behavior analysis is a plus.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.

- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
