JOB SUMMARY:

Ensure delivery of world-class technical support through fast and accurate processing of customer inquiries via telephone, email, forums, and internet portal.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (the following in only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all responsibilities, tasks, and duties)

  • Develop, prospect, grow and maintain strong, relationships with key accounts and customers to grow sales.
  • Deliver a world-class customer experience through technical & warranty related support by accurately processing customer inquiries via phone, email, forums, social channels, live chat, and customer portals.
  • Become a valuable resource/consultant to customers & consumers delivering solutions to their technical challenges (trusted advisor status).
  • Create engaging customer experiences and drive sales by utilizing approved consultative selling practices to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Independently identify, troubleshoot, document and replicate customer problems.
  • Provide accurate timely information to internal and external customers as necessary to provide a first-class purchase experience (Program/Part Quotations, Tracking Information, Lead-Time Notifications, etc.).
  • Serve as a key conduit to the quality department by identifying and documenting critical issues to improve consumer experience.
  • Maintain customer database to ensure robust pipeline of qualified contacts and follow-up opportunities.
  • Disseminates critical information to assigned accounts as directed regarding pricing, new product launches, promotions, terms, and conditions etc.
  • Formally schedules and meets with Key Customers every 6 weeks to review business opportunities and challenges.
  • Audits key customers to ensure timely and proper execution of new product launches, promotions and communicates as needed to ensure program execution.
  • Maintains website dealer and installer registry to ensure accuracy.
  • Plans and supports tradeshows and marketing events as requested through planning, attendance, etc.
  • Requires travel to support sales and marketing shows and installations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Experience:

Prior Sales Experience Auto Aftermarket Experience Customer Service Experience Preferred Auto Enthusiast+ Enhanced Communication Skills Marine Knowledge+

Education:

Two or Four Year degree in Business, Marketing or related fields

Technical Skills:

Microsoft Office (Excel) Microsoft Teams Microsoft Outlook ASE Certified+

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

The noise level in the work environment is usually low

Personal protective equipment is required including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
