Project Manager with capabilities to lead, implement, and communicate an operational plan for completing a project, monitor progress and performance against the project plan; resolve operational problems, minimize delays, identify, develop, and gather necessary resources to complete the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Manager for small to large projects and lead projects from start of planning to project completion

  • Identify deficiencies to develop scope of design and construction for renovation or upgrade to existing building or industrial systems

  • Responsible for critical thinking, troubleshooting, data collection, experimental procedures, and data analysis techniques to solve problems and recommend facilities improvements

  • Determine and prioritize project tasks and develop project schedule, milestones and timelines to achieve project s final goals on time and within budget

  • Present and update facility and plant management on project progress and results

  • Lead and/or support in the bidding, evaluation, and selection process of contractors for the design and construction phase of a project

  • Develop work scope with contractors to ensure the design and construction meet specifications, building codes, and performance expectations

  • Lead and direct various project activities such as evaluation, improvement and installation of equipment, utilities or building improvements within the Facilities team scope.

  • Review, verify and approve engineering/design drawings at the various design completion levels

  • Leading and supporting equipment installation, maintenance, repairs, and replacements.

  • Implement new engineering strategies and technologies to replace facilities equipment and systems at their end of life (EOL)

  • Customer support and communication: Work closely with internal and external customers to understand the details of the project request

  • Communicate schedule delays and improvements that may impact the customer.

    Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience in project management role.

  • 3 to 7+ years of relevant working experience in Project Management.

    Knowledge/Skills:

  • Positive attitude, open minded, and team player.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas to gain consensus from individuals or teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, prioritize, and organize activities.

  • Provide flexibility and change direction as needed or as directed by management.

  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement systems

  • Work effectively in a general business environment, with a focus on high levels of quality and customer service.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Prompt and regular attendance within our onsite operations.

  • Flexibility to work adjusted shifts as necessary.

  • Korean language proficiency a plus.

    Additional requirements:

  • This role could require up to 10% of travel (domestic or international)
