Payroll Administrator


We are looking for a meticulous and organized Payroll Administrator to join our client's team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time, adhering to both company policies and legal requirements. You will manage payroll records, prepare essential reports, and support employees with payroll-related questions.


Key Responsibilities:


Payroll Processing:



  • Assist in preparing and processing bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees.

  • Accurately calculate and record hours worked, overtime, deductions, and other payroll-related data.

  • Ensure timely and precise submission of payroll information into the system.


Record Maintenance:



  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salary changes, benefits, and deductions.

  • Verify and enter data for new hires, terminations, and status changes.

  • Ensure all payroll information is accurate and up to date.


Compliance:



  • Ensure payroll processing complies with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.

  • Assist in preparing tax documents, including W-2s and other year-end reports.

  • Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations, updating practices accordingly.


Reporting:



  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as required.

  • Reconcile payroll accounts and assist in month-end and year-end closings.

  • Assist in auditing payroll procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.


Employee Support:



  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timesheets.

  • Provide guidance to employees on accessing payroll-related information and resources.

  • Assist in resolving any payroll discrepancies promptly and professionally.


Requirements:



  • A minimum of 4 years of experience processing high-volume payroll.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented with a quick aptitude for learning new software.

  • Proficient in MS Office products.
