The Carpenter will have a strong focus on installing, repairing, constructing, refinishing and maintaining architectural and structural items for the interior and exterior buildings. Individuals are expected to demonstrate technical expertise in carpentry and be multi-skilled in others (masonry, roofing, flooring, metal work and architectural painting) in order to successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments. Responsibilities/Duties: Perform maintenance, installation, repairing, constructing, fabricating, refinishing, assembling and maintaining architectural and structural items for the interior and exterior building envelope. Professionally interact with clients and maintain a professional appearance Understand historical building codes and historical preservation And other duties as assigned Skills & Requirements Required Skills: Clear background investigation. Clear driver's license and have reliable transportation to work High level of carpentry knowledge Maintenance Documentation completion and filing Customer Service Skills Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and familiar with CMMS Excellent Organizational skills Required Experience: Sufficient experience and knowledge in carpentry Required Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent OSHA certified and trained in the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements Journeymen License. Qualifications Our positions may require a background screening and clearance directly from the Government.
