Job description
Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST at NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT within the Nuclear Reactors Supply Chain Management Directorate. Duties You will develop the division staffing plan to support anticipated funding and workload. You will prepare recurring staffing reports for management review and analysis. You will provide oversight of Position Descriptions, Organization Charts and Department Vacancies. You will hold department meetings to discuss various personnel concerns, the status of in-process personnel actions, and when needed, coordinates the conduct of training on related issues. You will prepare actions in the HRO Action Tracker Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) and tracks all Nuclear Reactors Supply Chain Management Directorate (NRSCMD) requested actions. You will provide input and recommendations to the lead Management Analyst Specialist to improve management analyst processes and procedures. Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing management with information for making decisions on the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative and programmatic aspects of agency operations, in performing duties that include the following: 1) Providing input and advising on expenditures, funds control, and budgeting for an organizational program;
2) Entering, monitoring, maintaining, extracting, and analyzing data and records from automated systems to track activity/progression, and create reports to present to management;
3) Initiating, submitting, tracking the progression, and processing of personnel actions;
4) Applying knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures to assist members of the organization.
5) Applying knowledge of management principles, processes, and techniques in order to provide viable recommendations that will enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of the organization. GS-09:
