COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST

$40,000- $55,000

OVERVIEW OF THE COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST ROLE:

• High-volume B2B Collections via phone and email
• The Collections Specialist will send correspondence to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
• The Collections Specialist will confer with customers in an attempt to determine the reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of sales, service, or credit contract with the customer.
• Notify the credit department if customers fail to respond.
• Record information about the financial status of customers and the status of collection efforts.
• The Collections Specialist will receive payment and post amount paid to customer account.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST ROLE:

• 1 + years of commercial collections experience
• Solid computer skills in including Excel
• SAP a plus
