Job description

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Creditors Rights . This position offers an opportunity for advancement, as well as a competitive salary, bonus structure and benefits.

Typical duties and responsibilities


  • Court appearances
  • Prepare and review court filings
  • Draft proofs of claim, objections, motions, and adversary complaints
  • Draft responses to motions and other filings
  • Participate in telephone conferences with clients and adversaries to discuss pending motions and try to resolve disputes
  • Engage in discovery for cases
  • Strategize with co-counsel and colleagues

Required skills and qualifications


  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial issues with discretion
  • Research and writing skills
  • Analytical thinking


  • Must be willing and able to proactively utilize the Firm's case management and reporting software to actively manage assigned matters with a strong foundation in civil procedure and motions practice
  • Commitment to superior client care and proactive communication


  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills
