SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT

OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the firm's tax compliance and planning functions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments.
• The Senior Tax Accountant will manage tax planning strategies and provide insights to minimize tax liabilities.
• Prepare tax provisions and disclosures in accordance with ASC 740 for financial reporting.
• Research complex tax issues, offering recommendations to support the company's business goals.
• The Senior Tax Accountant will ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and maintain detailed, accurate tax records.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and reviews.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong experience with federal, state, and local tax compliance.
• Knowledge of indirect taxes; experience with multiple legal entities and foreign currency is a plus.
• Prior experience in public accounting or the construction industry is highly preferred.
