STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Sewickley, PA (fully on-site)
$50,000- $60,000

Join a mission-driven organization dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to help manage the financial records and ensure the accuracy of the accounting processes.

OVERVIEW OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheets, and other key accounts.
• Support the audit process by preparing necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with non-profit accounting standards and regulations.
• Utilize Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis).
• Knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
