Job Summary:

The Operations Coordinator position is located on-site in our York PA office and reports to the Director of Operations. It provides support to the operations team while working closely with new hires, local unions, external customers and other internal departments. This position supports a large geographical area that includes: PA, NY, MA, WV and select Midwestern and Southern states as required.

Responsibilities:
Assists management in ensuring compliance with the Henkels & McCoy established policies and procedures

Assists Operations Director in executing reporting duties, coordinating work flow, processing invoices, maintaining databases, collecting expense data, training logistics, and overseeing IT equipment and user access for assigned workforce.

Support field operations as needed, including training on mobile DWRs, cell phone procurement and inventory

Coordinate and perform administrative routine contract work using standardized and prescribed methods

Assist in monitoring progress of work per cost accounting adherence with budget

Perform general administrative duties including auditing timesheets, and working with operations directly

Ensure all information is collected and processed accurately, analyzed effectively and disseminated in a timely manner to appropriate parties

Contact, tracks and follows up with new hires prior to start date to ensure all pre-employment items are completed

Coordinates new hire orientation with the new hires, Safety, Fleet, HR and Operations

Collects and provides new hire information to the HR team

Ensures compliance with DOT agency regulations - submits required forms to 3rd party to create driver file and updates drive file as required

Maintain employee vacation / PTO tracker

Process termination reports

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and ensure security of sensitive employee information

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, College degree in business or construction management preferred

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word

Familiarity with JD Edwards a plus

1+ year of experience in construction operations or equivalent education

Advanced communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail

Ability to work overtime when required
