Job description

Overview:
The Management Analyst will support the IT Department in a variety of roles, learning all aspects of how the department is organized and structured to support the enterprise. This role will take part in a variety of departmental initiatives, including day to day operations, progress reporting, in addition to documenting and reviewing the process and procedures that are critical for the department to meet is goals and provide the necessary services to its customers. Must possess extensive knowledge and technical expertise within spreadsheets and/or reporting applications and the ability to understand simple to complex data sets.

Responsibilities

Work alongside and report to the Innovation Manager and assist with the following tasks:

Create and deliver presentations that focus on key strategies, actions, deliverables and financial projections

Work with the Innovation Manager to track performance of active innovation teams

Work with resource managers to effectively align resources across platforms based on resource capacity and forecasting.

Ability to manage change control, understand the impact of changes to the overall portfolio and clearly articulate risks/issues to manage expectations

Department documentation in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint

Developing presentations in PowerPoint

Financial reporting in Excel

Other duties as assigned

Work with members of the IT management team and aid them in their key departmental tasks and deliverables

Qualifications

Business Degrees preferred

Strong analytical skills, work ethic, independence, problem solving ability, effective communication skills, and over-all positive attitude

Must be analytical, detailed oriented and have a process mentality

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong computer knowledge and skills, including in-depth expert knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and word processing (fluent in Excel, Word and PowerPoint critical for this role)

Highly self-motivated and directed

Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Strong customer service orientation
