General Duties and Responsibilities : Manage all aspects of land development Prepare and maintain land development budgets Review and approve all construction plans prepared by consultants before submittal to any municipalities Review and approve all plats prepared by consultants before submittal to any municipalities Maintain accurate project timing and project schedules Manage new community meetings, and meet with all divisions regularly to ensure proper information flow Work with the finance group to ensure appropriate budgeting and information flow to allow project financing Manage land development department Other duties as assigned Qualifications : Bachelor's degree from an accredited university Track record of success in a similar position Experience with and understanding of processes of the production homebuilding industry Skilled in negotiation techniques Strong verbal and written communication skills Outstanding organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and follow-through ability Knowledgeable in use of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel Readily adaptable to rapid change in a high-stress environment while remaining calm and effective Able to work with a flexible schedule that may require more than 40 hours' work per week At Brightland Homes, LTD. employment opportunity is based upon personal capabilities and qualifications without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, ancestry, national origin, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic as established by law.
