Job Description: Reporting to VP of Finance this Finance rockstar will work along with Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Head of Customer Experience to drive global planning, forecasting, KPIs reporting and guide ROI-based decision making across Sales, Marketing and Services teams for company Software.
Specific duties in this Senior Financial Analyst include:

  • Build financial models to aid in financial decision making (Cap Ex., Acquisitions, etc.)
  • Continue to drive process enhancement and process improvement in the reporting, forecasting, and budgeting functions via automation and system enhancements.
  • Work collaboratively with the Treasury function (13 week rolling cash flow forecasting)
  • Ad-hoc projects and reporting done to enhance business profitability
  • Prepare the month end reporting package: P & L, B/S, Statement of Cash Flows and the respective variance analysis
  • Variance analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecast

Skills:

  • 2+ years of investment banking or PE experience preferrable with Software/SaaS companies OR 3-5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Sales/Revenue Finance, or Strategic Finance
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets are required
  • Strong Modeling skills - Create Excel models of business models that can be easily analyzed including Sensitivity Analysis are required
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience supporting sales and/or marketing teams is highly preferred
  • Organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail, a sense of personal accountability, an urgency for achieving results while rejecting false tradeoffs
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business model, metrics, and unit economics
  • Ability to apply these concepts in evaluating opportunities and risks, and guiding leadership decision making across both short and long-term time horizons
  • Ability to distill complex business information into consumable executive narratives and actionable insights
  • Proficiency with core financial and revenue systems, including ERP software (like Adaptive Insights or Anaplan), Salesforce, NetSuite, Tableau etc.
