Job description

Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Client Intake & Case Preparation: Review client documents, prepare comprehensive indexes, and draft petition forms and supporting letters for attorney review.

  • Case Management: Maintain meticulous organization of client files, both electronically and physically.

  • Immigration Processing: Prepare and file immigration petitions

  • Client Communication: Track client document expiration dates, proactively communicate with attorneys of upcoming renewals, and draft clear and concise client correspondence under attorney guidance.

  • Teamwork & Support: Assist attorneys in filing petitions and assembling immigration packages for seamless delivery. Ensure all packages are compiled accurately and saved securely in the firm's systems.

  • Calendar & Deadline Management: Create and maintain calendar reminders and deadlines for yourself, attorneys, and other team members, fostering overall project efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of immigration forms, their completion process, and electronic/paper filing procedures.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working on business immigration matters as a paralegal (Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required).

  • Proficiency in immigration case management systems

  • Research and translation skills to navigate filing requirements across various countries.

  • Excellent writing skills to draft letters

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage time meticulously to meet deadlines.

  • Extensive experience with all types of business immigration practices.



Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
