Job description

This role is located onsite in El Paso, TX. The PMO Department Manager leads a team of project management professionals, ensuring the execution of all assigned projects adheres to PMBOK standards and supports DATAMARK's strategic goals. The PMO Department Manager is responsible for executing the vision and strategy for the PMO Department, overseeing all projects, and providing leadership on large-scale programs requiring a program management structure. The PMO Department Manager will control and monitor project performance. In this role the PMO Department Manager will manage risks, and ensure projects are delivered according to DATAMARK and client expectations.

The PMO Department Manager will develop and execute the overall PMO strategy, aligning with DATAMARK's goals and objectives. This role will also lead large programs requiring structured program management, ensuring successful execution in line with client and company expectations. The PMO Department Manager will Participate in RFIs, RFPs, and internal pricing exercises (SPMs), offering expertise and strategic guidance. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education Requirements:

o Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field

Field Experience:

o At least 7 years of experience in a Project Management Office environment managing both Projects and Programs

Position Experience:

o At least 3 years managing a team of Project Managers

o PMP certification preferred

o Proven experience in managing people and multi-functional projects

o Proven experience in direct customer interaction and extended location team management

o Must be able to travel within the United States and internationally on a periodic basis.
