Job description

Job Summary:
As a Builder Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with builders, contractors, and developers, focusing on promoting our flooring products and services. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining existing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase market share in the builder and contractor segment
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with builders, contractors, and developers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including project managers, purchasing agents, and developers
  • Promote and present a range of flooring products and solutions that meet the specific needs of builder clients
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations, quotes, and proposals to potential clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project requirements are met, including coordinating with operations, installation, and customer service teams
  • Track sales pipeline, manage opportunities, and meet or exceed sales targets and quotas
  • Conduct regular site visits and client meetings to gather project details and provide product recommendations
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and pricing to maintain a competitive edge
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build and expand the client base
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management on sales activity, progress, and performance

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the flooring, building materials, or construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of the builder and contractor market, including key players and industry dynamics
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred but not required
