Program Manager - COSMOS Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity: CACI, Inc. is accepting applications for a Program Manager to lead the Contract for Organizing Spaceflight Mission Operations and Systems (COSMOS) contract. COSMOS specifies technical, managerial, and administrative work needed to ensure the availability, integrity, reliability, and security of the Flight Operations Directorate's (FOD) Mission Systems supporting National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) space flight programs requiring mission operations support. For this contract, "Mission Systems" is defined as the systems and subsystems of integrated hardware, software, networks, telecommunications, data, displays, and mockups used in the preparation for and performance of mission operations. Responsibilities: The COSMOS Program manager shall lead collaboration with the NASA Customer on strategic, innovative, and cost-effective solutions for current and future operations that align with the NASA and FOD vision. Develop and implement a comprehensive Continuous Improvement Plan for improving contract performance with the goals of working more safely, enhancing quality, and maximizing customer value and satisfaction. Provide an efficient and aggressively cost-effective management approach implementing the appropriate structure, processes, and controls and understanding the COSMOS/Government relationship to manage delivery of the key Mission Systems support while meeting technical and performance requirements. Organize and institute integrated processes and tools for managing the products and services. Define and institute processes to improve cost effectiveness in management, administration, development, modification, sustaining, maintenance, reconfiguration, operations, and decommissioning across all Mission Systems to increase the capacity to perform problem resolution, system improvements, and new development without compromising Mission Systems functionality or performance. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent years of education and experience Must have at least 18 years of related work experience US Citizen Must hold or be able to attain US Secret Security Clearance Desired: Prior experience leading NASA programs Experience leading large and complex programs Technically competent Self-motivated Superior attention to detail Ability to work independently Effective, professional interpersonal and leadership skills Strong team building and collaboration skills - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
