This is an exciting opportunity to advance a career in healthcare finance at a value-based care enabler. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this role will be responsible for completing a range of financial operations activities.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Managing monthly closing process according to adherence to GAAP.

Preparing and posting required journal entries to record business activity accurately and completing other month-end and year-end closing processes including tracking accruals, analyzing account activity, reconciling account balances, and validating financial reports.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks.

Ensuring that processes are completed in accordance with corporate schedules, and that all submissions follow corporate policies.

Monitoring internal controls and escalating compliance issues or concerns as appropriate.

Reconciling accounts, including the proper allocation of expenses across various departments and functional areas

Reconciling balance sheet accounts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Developing and implementing best practices and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations and reporting.

Identifying opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and accounting operations.

Supporting external auditors, advisors, and other potential stakeholders in testing and demonstrating the accuracy and robustness of accounting processes and internal controls
