The position: The Resident Services Coordinator assists the Community Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of an apartment community, or communities, with resident relations issues, performances a variety of administrative/clerical duties, and has primary responsibility for any resident concerns being addressed.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the resident experience
Offer a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the leasing office
Maintain awareness of the property competitors and contribute ideas to the Property Manager to improve resident retention and satisfaction
Contact and follow up on renewals, new residents, and work orders
Answer and handle incoming issues from current residents always offering excellent service
Create a renewal program to optimize leas renewals and decrease resident turnover
Create ideas for marketing and events and assist in successful execution of these events
Plan fun activities for residents
Develop and execute strategies for optimizing online reputation and resident satisfaction surveys in accordance with goals set by Community Manager
Must be available for after hours for resident relations and other activities
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
High school GED; or one to three years of related experience
Possess knowledge of property operations, marketing principles and practices
Knowledge of principals and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products of services; this includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources management, leadership techniques, planning and organization, and coordinator of people and resources
Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Industry Specific Software
