Responsibilities:

The labor analyst position supports the labor relations team for all ground based unionized employees and will periodically support the labor relations for unionized flight operations employees.

This position requires a person to be self-motivated with an ability to handle projects with limited direction, and the willingness to make decisions independently. The labor analyst must have strong organizational skills and must be willing to learn the functions and roles of other work groups within the company for the purpose of administering the applicable collective bargaining agreements. This position also requires excellent written and oral skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. The position will require periodic travel.

Performs project management tasks to support Labor Relations, specifically in areas of negotiations, grievances management, arbitrations, and training, while acquiring skills and experience in other areas.

Researches and analyzes complex collective bargaining issues.

Identifies and evaluates options in order to find solutions that meets the requirements of multiple collective bargaining agreements.

Develops and conducts training on each new collective bargaining agreement & yearly recurrent training on existing collective bargaining agreements.

Manages inquiries and the resolution of disputes related to the collective bargaining agreements.

Assists the Human Resource Business Partners on an as needed basis.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in Labor Relations, finance/time & attendance tracking, management of unionized employees, Human Resource, or airline operational experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams and Sharepoint etc.

Experience working across work groups and all levels of management.

The ability to plan ahead, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

The ability to make decisions independently and determine the best course of action for a particular task or project.

The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management & union leaders.

Taking initiative, keeping yourself motivated to complete tasks and meet deadlines; the ability to be productive without external pressure or reminders from others.

Union negotiation experience
