Job description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Information Technology (IT) Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing IT projects from inception to completion. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, project management expertise, and excellent communication skills. The IT Project Manager should be adept at managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while maintaining a focus on achieving project goals and stakeholder satisfaction. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing IT projects, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Define project scope, goals, success criteria, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop project plans and associated communications documents.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members, and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Interact with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Provide senior management with clear and accurate communication of project status and issues.
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Track project milestones and deliverables.
Develop and deliver status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and issues, and prepare and implement contingency plans.
Evaluate and manage the implementation third party solutions and ongoing relationships with vendors to ensure company goals and objectives are met.
Effectively multiple projects simultaneously.
Work with training and support teams as needed to create training, support, and end-user documentation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in a related Information Technology, Computer Sciences or Business
discipline is preferred.
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
Minimum 3 years' experience in IT project management.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, best practices, and software tools such as Jira and TargetProcess.
General mortgage banking background.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires the ability to operate a personal computer, fax machine, copier, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry materials and supplies weighing 35 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.
