Lead and Inspire: Direct the accounting team in daily financial functions, ensuring compliance with established processes and deadlines.
Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze business performance metrics and produce detailed reports to inform strategic decision-making.
Financial Oversight: Manage payables and T&E processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and state regulations.
Compliance Champion: Supervise state compliance reporting, ensuring alignment with federal and state guidelines.
Cash Flow Control: Monitor cash flow and payables to ensure timely financial obligations.
GAAP Expertise: Research and apply GAAP principles to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Audit Coordination: Lead internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to best practices and accounting standards.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for efficiency and accuracy in business processes.
Policy Development: Establish and implement accounting policies that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
16+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 5 years in a managerial role.
Public accounting experience preferred, especially in public company reporting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with mergers and acquisitions.
Proven ability to manage audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
Expertise in cash flow management and tax-related processes.
Proficient in financial analysis and reporting, including labor cost analysis.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a history of leading cross-functional teams.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
