What Will the Senior Accountant Do?

The ideal Senior Accountant will be a high-energy, hands-on accountant with fixed asset management experience. Key duties include:

• Process Weekly Payroll using ADP
• Audit payroll data and reports for inefficiencies and errors and resolve all payroll issues timely
• Ensure payroll compliance with company policy, federal, state, and local tax jurisdictions
• Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
• Month-end reconciliation and review for payroll, benefits, and other accounts as assigned
• Full-cycle fixed asset accounting in Sage, including project tracking (capital budgeting), reporting budget vs actuals, moving assets into service, monthly reporting, annual fixed asset audits, etc.
• Monthly FA reconciliations
• Assist with annual corporate insurance renewal
• Assist with year-end and other audits
• Continuous process improvement by developing a formal process for fixed assets

What We Are Seeking in a Senior Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of experience in Fixed Asset Management preferred
• Solid payroll processing experience with third-party service; ADP system expertise preferred
• Process development and implementation experience
• Available to travel periodically to non-local plant facilities

Salary: $90,000
